Creative Thoughts

   







I am a freshman in TCI College. I am very satisfied with the choice I made in coming here to study Digital Media Arts. I feel like I have learned so much in such short time. I have great instructors that teaches me what i need to know to get through this course. Everything is so far moving along swell. I am beginning to network more and meet new people. I am also learning how to take care of responsibilities more since i been going to college.

 

Why i chose Dma: I chose Digital Media Arts as my major because i am interested in the technology of Arts and Design. I have always had a passion for art. I find everything about this field interesting. In this course i will be learning many valid skills that i will need to know to do what i want to do. My main goals are learning how to create video, album covers and things that have to do with music entertainment and advertisement.

            

Most Interesting Album Cover

Here is an example of a mixture of art and music. This is a album cover from the Rap Artist T.I called the Paper Trail. It is a unique picture with a meaning to the title. I find this album cover to be very interesting because you can see the thought that the artist put into this.

Photography is another Big interest of mine. It is a skill that has lots to do with the film world. You can express alot through a picture.


            

                                 


                                           
                                

I Have Been Reading The Book College Rules . Chapters 1 And 2 were the most effective ones to read. I can greatly relate to most of the concerns and worries of being a new College student and adjusting to the College life. I was mainly worried about the adjustments that i had to make starting college , especially coming out of High School . College is a whole new Ball Game.

    What were my concerns ?
 
Work  -  Being that i wasnt the best High School student , I was mostly concerned about the amount Of work and Study i will have to put in. The Second Chapter tought me that I am going to have to Self Discipline myself , Also in College you have to learn to make sacrafices , meaning Cutting down on things such as Partying , drinking or anything that lowers your Motivation to want to do Good.

   Now that i am enrolled into TCI i am beginning to make certain adjustments that will help me become a better student down the line. Time Management is one of the adjustments that im making . I am also beginning to plan out my ideas for my future. I had to cut down on hanging with my Boys 24/7 and Partying . These are sacrifices that i have to make in order to become a succesful college student.

• Becoming more interactive with the school and activities going on.
